Welcome!

My name is Lachlan Devine. I'm a tutor, writer, and independent philosopher based in Edinburgh.

I offer tutoring for maths, academic writing and philosophy, in Edinburgh and online.

I have a PhD in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, completed in 2026. I also have a BSc First Class in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2018.

During my PhD, I accumulated five years of teaching experience, mostly in logic, academic writing skills, and philosophy of mind and language. You can see more about my qualifications and experience here.
